Monday, February 02, 2009 this morning, i sprained my neck. not while doing anything cool, but while trying to reach for my hair to put conditioner on. it would be quite funny if it wasn't so painful. and so annoyingly restrictive of simple actions like looking down. or yawning. so now i am sitting with an ice pack (which i dug out from under a pile of seafood in my freezer and therefore smells like fish) tied around my throat with a towel, obeying RICE to the letter, although i can't really see how to elevate my neck. sigh. and here i was congratulating myself on my agility and quick reflexes in rolling over to break my fall during saturday's game so i didn't graze my knees and smash into the wall, and thinking maybe michelle was right in saying we still have it in us. sigh. posted by gruff at 1:24 PM --------------------------------------------------------------------------
