you know times when you get the sinking feeling in your stomach. and then there are times when it's worse, when it's not a sinking feeling but a feeling that there wasn't any room to sink anyway just that you never saw it earlier. times when it dawns upon you that you have been betrayed, or times when you realise that things you have hoped upon hope for are probably not going to happen. i tried to learn trust. i am failing. i tried to learn gentleness. hah. i tried to learn to forget, but i only forget what i ought to remember and remember what i hoped to forget. it is still true that hope is not the greatest curse on mankind. i just need to remember why. she said, no one is alone the way you are alone. and you held her looser than you would have if you ever could have known posted by gruff at 11:35 AM --------------------------------------------------------------------------
