and so it's another new year, and i'm back from my sanctuary in the mountains. it's funny how i gave it that name before i first went there in 2004, because it's such an accurate description of what it really is. despite having some sort of food poisoning and therefore only eating plain porridge for breakfast and soda crackers for dinner. and also not having much sleep. this time was one rather special time. but now it's back to school. back to things which sometimes seem meaningless but necessary, or enjoyable. things which i think i want to push to the back seat so they don't drive my life around, because they just go in circles and more circles and end up nowhere better. posted by gruff at 9:05 AM --------------------------------------------------------------------------
