the past week has been pretty strange, what with my having to make decisions and being in dilemmas all the time. and then that one decision which i made which might have been right or might have been wrong. but it is now beyond my control and therefore i will obey my msn nick and skip to the happier parts. des the aspiring baker delivered me molten chocolate cake and nutella cupcakes, which were good stuff although i forgot to warm them up first. i like being fed nice things. then the next day there was sushi, sashimi, huge sinful cake and my favourite donoghue/stevenson float with nette, who is doing her oil thing again right now. hurhur. and then there was tutu cake, which is on my longtime list of comfort food. the queensway one is as good as ever, but we got scammed by the auntie at westmall, who didn't wait for the cakes to be steamed properly and knew they weren't steamed properly but still took them out and poked at them and said aiyah they're just a bit broken. but they were clearly falling apart, a bit broken my foot. she did put a lot of the white powder thing though, so it was super fluffy, which would have been perfect had it actually been cooked like it should be. but then there is perfection and there is reality. posted by gruff at 10:14 AM --------------------------------------------------------------------------
