on a bright saturday morning, i discovered the wonders of what is called a breeze presentation.
problems trying to keep up with the amazingly rapid speech speed of the lecturer?
just press pause, and rewind to the point you started losing her!
wondering what the case she is "briefly discusing" is about?
just press pause, and go check up a casebook, or lexis!
difficulty in choosing between replying an msn message and listening to the lecture?
just press pause, switch windows, and come back!
i suppose this is what other people enjoy when they have webcasts. hur.

on a rainy saturday afternoon, i had to choose between wading through a flood and trudging through mud. i chose to walk the tightrope and tiptoe across on the kerb between the two evils. a bit of the underpass at lido was flooded, so we had to turn back. but not before we saw a solid ang morh guy pick his female friend up with one hand and (literally) singlehandedly ferry her across the deep waters.
oh yes, and congrats to zhang!

and a hilarious saturday night, reliving my childhood days of Guess Who?. when a game doesn't involve money, glenda is not a person you want to have on your team.
it was us versus suba.
glenda: does your person have light hair?
suba: no.
glenda proceeds to eliminate all the dark-haired people.
me: what are you doing.
glenda: she say don't have dark hair what right.

then when it was me versus glenda and i only had two people left, i announced triumphantly that her person was anne.
glenda: NOPE.
me: huh, then it's maria??
glenda, puzzled: huh no, not maria also. charles.
she showed me the picture of charles.

me: you told me got accessories you idiot.

glenda: eh no i didn't! i said don't have! really meh!

-_- come to think of it, she's not a person you would want to have on the other team either.
teehee i am going to get scolded. nevermind, still my friend.
