FINALLY, the nightmare that is binder, is over. something is wrong when the first application you open when you turn on your computer is Microsoft Word. thursday night spent in the library starting on the memo. friday night spent in the library finishing the memo. the whole of saturday spent in the library cutting 2611 words to 1999 words. aimed to finish by 5pm, extended it to 6, then decided 7 was more realistic. at 655 we gave up being ambitious. which was a good choice because by the time we finished, it was closer to 10. hur. which meant, no tiger and the snow :( but it was still a good day. quote synthesized from josh and i, binder tears people apart but brings them together. no need quote proof. lunch with glenda and beek while the rain poured waterfalls off the roof of the canteen. would've been romantic but i was too drained to appreciate it. i thought the helpanna.com posters were quite apt. then at 4+ i was almost dying and mich still wanted to send me emo songs. lucky i fought the urge to listen to them because if i did i would've just jumped off the third floor of the library. and at regular intervals while i was in the long-drawn process of killing my brain des the word-reducing machine entertained me with emoticons. while various people in various parts of the school monitored my painfully slowly dropping word count and provided encouragement. school is good when you walk down the corridor and can say hi to almost everyone you meet. actually glenda and i figured that's probably cos our friends are the ones doing last minute work while everyone else is at home sleeping. but hey, we're holding on together. hahaha. dinner, or rather supper, after. it was quite horrifying that we were all in brown and white, but at least pravin was trying to hide it. hahah. unhealthy food and extreme sleepiness, but good company :) friends who wait 4 hours for you are good friends. friends who buy barbecued chicken wings for you are also good friends. i realised i just did a sorta quote application. argh. posted by gruff at 9:23 AM --------------------------------------------------------------------------
