training yesterday was quite good. though there was a bunch of new girls who were really loud and exaggerated and in-your-face. anyway after training we went for dinner. ate at this new thai shop in lido with pink-and-purple counters and a rather effeminate man who kept insisting that our food only came in a set when it was so obviously on the menu without a set. and then the set came with this tamarind drink that was disgusting..it's like those preserved orange peel things except it's diluted and cold. juelin quite liked it..but juelin likes funny preserved stuff so it's a different story. oh and it had an average serving time of about half an hour. at least the food was just edible. overall it made up one of the worst meals i've had in my life. between the two of us we had enough left over to make a whole new set. promises mean everything when you're little, and the world's so big i just don't understand how you can smile with all those tears in your eyes and tell me everything is wonderful now. posted by gruff at 7:58 AM --------------------------------------------------------------------------
