Saturday, June 26, 2004 went to the wake yesterday. sat there for two hours and i saw her mother cry, over and over again, whenever she talked to a new group of people; then sitting at a corner trying to be strong, giving weak little smiles to acknowledge our presence. her father looking so drained but more accepting, trying to explain what happened though nobody knows for sure. us looking at photos, class photos, alma mater photos, her holiday photos, and remembering. for me i remembered the crocodiles. everyone's gonna have their own memory of her, and this is mine. posted by gruff at 8:25 AM --------------------------------------------------------------------------
